I used to HATE my body. For years I would look in the mirror and squeeze my thighs and call myself fat. I spent hours working out every day trying to exercise off "bad" food that I would binge on.
I had terrible self esteem, and at my darkest moment I was sitting in my closet writing "I hate you" with a marker on my body.
It was dark.
Until finally after 18 years of dieting, over exercising and self loathing I decided...ENOUGH!
I wondered what it would feel like to love my body and to ENJOY the process of working out and transforming my body.
I started listening to what words I was saying to myself, and replacing them with more loving and kind messages. I started to retrain my brain to create new habits and beliefs so that I started to like what I saw in the mirror. I committed to ONLY doing workouts that were FUN.
I began exercising a lot LESS, and to my amazement...I started feeling stronger, having more energy and I lost weight and inches that for years had frustrated me.
And even better...I started to LOVE my body and was enjoying the process of working out. It was FUN!
